Specific professional orientation:
Prof. Dr. Branko Beleslin is a cardiologist from Belgrade with extensive experience in working with patients suffering from cardiovascular diseases. He has built his professional career at the Cardiology Clinic of the Clinical Center of Serbia. Prof. Beleslin has served as the president of the Association of Cardiologists of Serbia from 2021 to 2023. He is a member of both domestic and European cardiology associations and actively participates as a lecturer in conferences and professional gatherings.
Since 2010, he has been leading the Department of Clinical Research and Education at the Clinical Center of Serbia, and in the same year, he was appointed as the head of the Department of Functional Cardiovascular Diagnostics and Hemodynamics at the Cardiology Clinic.
Since 1998, he has been a Professor of Cardiology at the Medical Faculty in Belgrade.
Prof. Dr. Branko Beleslin specializes in the treatment of hypertension, acute coronary syndrome, and heart failure. Professor Beleslin provides the following services at the Pulse Cardiology Center:
- Cardiological examinations
- ECG (electrocardiogram) of the heart
- Echocardiography
- Other consultations, referrals, and patient preparations
- Interventional cardiology procedures
He has undergone professional training both within the country and abroad and is often invited to lecture at conferences. He is also the author and co-author of several papers in the field of cardiology.
He was one of the first in Serbia to perform the procedure of intracoronary cooling of the heart muscle in a patient with acute myocardial infarction, with the aim of reducing heart muscle damage during the infarction.
Today, he is known as an advocate for a healthy lifestyle for all patients with cardiovascular problems. Professor Branko Beleslin was also a member of the team that treated weakened heart with stem cells.
